Leadership Team

Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve

1 peter 5:2

DIRECTORS

Mitch Autry

Mitch has been the Business Administrator/ Director (and assistant coach) of Landmark since 2014. He was introduced to Landmark during his son Ben's Freshman year. He remembers thinking, at the opening meeting, and famously says, "there's no way this [Landmark] is everything they are saying it is." A year later he accepted the role of Business Administrator.  He now tells the parents and players at the opening meeting, "You may not believe it, but it [Landmark] is everything it says it is."

Mitch's love for the program combined with his desire to see it succeed helped him to stick around for four-years, without having a child in the program.  He is now happy to continue to serve Landmark, while he has the joy and pleasure of watching his son Luke play in his second season.

Jay Muldoon

Jay has been with Landmark since 2010, when his oldest son joined the team.  Since then he has had the pleasure of watching four of his son's compete, and this year will introduce Landmark to his 5th son David.  Jay enjoys his role as an assistant coach and co-director, but really he just enjoys talking to the players about Christ and encouraging their relationship with Him, while he treasures watching each player thrive and grow.

Having never played soccer, Jay has begun to understand and truly appreciate this beautiful game.  It is his belief that each lesson, drill, game situation and every soccer related attribute can circle back to our faith and what it takes to walk and evangelize as a Christian.  He doesn't always do it right, but that is why we train, stand together and invite Christ into every thing we do.

COACHES

Matt Cooksey

Matt Cooksey is Landmark’s varsity head coach.  Matt played soccer for Ball State University.  He stayed involved in the game by coaching his children’s teams.  He became the Varsity Coach for Landmark in 2018, his son’s senior year.  Since then our varsity team has compiled a 100-12-28 record.

Matt has a passion for growing players through the game including individual skills, understanding of tactics, team unity.  Above all, he wants to build individuals and teams that reflect a Christ-like character on and off the field.               "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light."  Eph 5:8

Patrick Naughton

Patrick has served as the Landmark JV coach for the past three seasons, and a goalie and assistant coach since 2015.Like all of the coaches and leadership team, Patrick fell in love with Landmark as he watched the effect it had on His sons: Ben, John and Ian.  Patrick would be the first to tell you that Landmark is a family affair, as not only did his sons play and he coach, but Carlene Naughton (Patrick's wife) served as our tournament / events planner for the past five years.  Beyond coaching, Patrick has helped to facilitate many of the daily operations and planning for Landmark, while he preaches and constantly shares the Word with all of our players.

Brett Zwolinski

Brett is one of Landmark’s assistant coaches. Brett played soccer at Cincinnati Christian High School where he was part of the winningest teams defeating Kings, Madeira, and Mason en route to win The Division Two District Championship. He stayed involved in the game by playing intramural soccer at The University of New Mexico and The Ohio State University and later coaching his children’s teams.  He became an assistant coach for Landmark in 2019 after his first of three sons completed his senior year.

Brett has a passion for the spiritual development of players first and foremost. He also enjoys playing the game and competing in practice as long as his body will hold up.

Joe Muldoon

Joe Muldoon is an assistant coach for the Landmark Boys varsity team.  Joe played for Landmark as a center-mid from 2012-2015, and served as a varsity captain junior and senior year.  Post high school, Joe went on to play for Cincinnati State during the 2017 season and Franciscan University from 2019-2020.  Joe joined the Landmark coaching staff as an assistant for the 2021 season.  Joe's passion is for teaching soccer skills and developing highly competitive players, but more importantly he wants to help disciple these young men for Christ.
